Everything I buy for myself is 100 vegitarian and I love it and can see a difference from regular big name products. They do cost a little more but when you work and your face is the first thing people see it is a investment i am willing to make.

I do my best with eating according to my Metobolic Type. I have gotten rid of almost all my nonorganic cosmetics, personal care items, and cleaning products. But, the only thing I have not been able to conquer is the acne and the only thing that does a great job at minimizing it is ProActive, which has parabens and other bad stuff. Any suggestions?

I am moving my family towards all organic/ natural products. The EWG site has been very helpful with this process. My teenage sons have been resistant to giving up their favorite products. I typed in two of their favorites, Suave Green Apple shampoo and Vaseline Intensive Skin Care lotion and then showed them the reports. They understood my concerns and were glad to try organic/natural products. I just wish I had started this long ago.

It was expensive & time consuming, but I have replaced all of the items in my make up case for items rated a 2 or less on EWG's site. I am still searching for a good organic shampoo for my thick, curly hair though -- any suggestions?

I think the site is being updated at the moment, but you could send an email to Julie, julie@saltspring.com , for a full product list.
