My shredder is very busy. I don't like these offers floating around in my garbage can.

I filled out the form again, we'll see if it works this time. Don't get your hopes up.

I'm leary about giving out even my email address now, let alone visiting some sites which can place cookies, retrieve you IP address for various purposes and who knows what else.

My P.O. Box was getting so cluttered with this stuff that I called every catalog company and told them I get their stuff at home, I don't want it in my P.O. box. Some were helpful, and some I had to call back numerous times over a year.

I have excellent credit, so they usually come with a promotional interest rate. 0% interest for 3 mo,6mo,or12 mo.

This is an excellent way to buy big ticket items using their money. Just recently purchased a laptop with 0% int for 12 mo. The best way to do this so you don't default is to divide the total amount by the number of months, minus 1 mo to insure timely payment. Keep your money in the bank drawing interest, and use theirs. Use an online pay checking account for automatic payment so you don't default.

After you pay it off, some will send you checks for 0% interest for balance transfers. I never have credit card balances, so I use a credit card to buy something, then send the check as payment for the credit card.

If used properly, credit cards are great.

The Post Office should be offering this option to people as identity theft is a real problem in the US. I would feel a lot safer if it was handled through the Post Office.

The site does not give you the option to go forward without the Social Security Number. I find this suspicious...

We do not know these people. They could be anyone including the thieves.
