You stated "So if you are taking reservatrol supplements and not using some alcohol to increase its absorption it is likely much of your supplement is not going into your blood stream but rather going down the toilet."

Since I don't drink alcohol, does this mean that "Purple Defense" does not get absorbed??

All I know is that I believe a glass or a maximum of two glasses of red wine; norma sized glasses, not those half litre glasses that UK binge drinkers are guzzling down; preferably grown over 500 metres above sea level, might well be working for me........add to that each day a teaspoon of Armagnac brandy.........recommended drinking by one writer.......and after only being able to walk 300 metres and agonising chest pains; the wine; armagnac, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, tea, skimmed milk, dried apricots, dried cranberries, Scots porridge oats, walnuts, raw pistachio nuts, pasta, two eggs a week poached only in water, mediterranean salads and food regime, whole squashed fresh fruit juices, Ryveta, (no margarine; one molecule from being tupperware) only real butter sparingly, weight loss of two stones with vegetable soup, smaller meals, no junk food, occasional half bar of quality dark chocolate, a few glasses of tap water, less Stress - this is the killer, more relaxation, walking and basic exercise in the fresh air..............and I have recently walked nearly 11 miles in three days.

So.......something must be changing; what ? I haven't got a clue; don't really want another angiogram at this time, so commonsense would tell me that I must be doing something beneficial to my health.

I do take the tablets daily the doctor gave me so they also must be beneficial.

I also believe that concentration of particular parts of the anatomy for short periods of time may also be beneficial.........mind over matter, positive thinking and above all......as Dr Malcolm Kendrick in his latest book states; Stress is the problem and keeping the Hyperthalmus happy is the key to good health.

The fluoride that is in tea is almost always the form that occurs naturally which is "Calcium Fluoride". Calcium Fluoride is found naturally in low concentration in drinking water and some foods, such as tea, seaweed, and fish bones (as in fish soup). Water with underground sources are more likely to have higher levels of Calcium Fluoride. Calcium Fluoride is considered relatively harmless and non-toxic due to its extreme insolubility. HOWEVER, the fluoride ADDED to toothpaste and ADDED to drinking water are almost always the toxic forms of fluoride, such as Sodium fluoride or sodium monofluorophosphate (added to toothpaste), hexafluorosilicic acid or sodium hexafluorosilicate (added to drinking water).

Regarding mercury in fish, you may also not know that smaller fish (with scales) like salmon, tuna, and flounder etc. are high in selenium and selenium actually counteracts and bonds to mercury, essentially rendering the amount of mercury in those fishes as harmless and non-toxic (if your body has absorbed the selenium of course). Many naturally occurring "toxins" usually occur in places that contain a synergistic combination of counter agents to those toxins. www.fishscam.com/fselenium.cfm
