Of all places, this neurological effect of fluorides, is in the government document: "Toxicological Profile for Fluorides, Hydrogen Fluoride, and Fluorine (F), 1993, page 125:

"Neurotoxicity. Because fluoride interacts with calcium ions needed for effective neurotransmission, fluoride can affect the nervous system." "Further neurological testing may be warranted to ascertain the conditions involved and the extent to which the nervous system is a target organ for fluoride toxicity."

Page 112 is just as important: "Populations unusually susceptable to the toxic effects of fluoride and its compounds are the elderly, people with deficiencies of calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, and people with cardiovascular and kidney problems."

"Because fluoride is excreted through the kidney, people with renal insufficiency would have impaired renal clearance of fluoride. People over the age of 50 often have decreased renal fluoride clearance."

"Poor nutrition increases the incidence and severity of dental fluorosis and skeletal fluorosis.

I have known this for years, as many as you have. But I am looked upon by my family as a "loon". Yet they always tell me that I should "work" in a health food store. Well which is it. Either I know what I am talking about when I don't want to use fluoride, and all the other dangerous drugs out there, or I don't know Jack. I have been using the "training" toothpaste on my daughter all her life. She is now 12. My mother-in-law gasps that I still am using non fluoride toothpaste. I am so sick and tired of our "FDA" being sooooo concerned about our welfare,yeah right. I think we are all one experiment. It is so frustrated by it all

It was in the '50s they first started 'pushing' the fluoridated water here. Was rejected by plebiscite first two, or three times, however, someone kept 'shoving' and eventually it passed. The only good part was that 'Hey, dentists will all be in homeless shelters within ten years'! Taking my daily stroll through the city's core I note that something went tragically wrong. Dentist's office to burn. Their Mercedes, 'Beamers and Hummers are every bit as big as the lawyers and oil execs. Alderman proposed, about three weeks ago, that it again should be taken to the people. Have not heard a peep since. That alderperson may have mysteriously disarreared.

Children, children!! When will you EVER learn?! It is completely unneccessary to use toothpaste of ANY kind in order to have the best oral health and to never go to the dental fraudsters ever again. I will tell you how! But first...I offer my credentials.... since abandoning my dentist and ANY form of toothpaste, my oral health has improved out of sight over the past five years or more. My husband and I use the Oil Pulling technique which is simplicity itself. We have developed the technique further and would like to share it ( at absolutely no cost) with anyone who cares to write to me at .....birchbark@megabox.ru. Just think! No more toothache! no more horrendous dental rip -offs ! instead be pain free, dentist free and a whole lot more financial. Know the joke?...........A guy goes to his dentist and says" don't you get sick of having your hands in people's mouths all day?" The dentist replies" No, I think of it as having my hands in their pockets!" But seriously...this alternative works and in a BIG way. No wonder it has been kept in the dark...it is so cheap and so effective and is totally do-able from the youngest to the oldest, plus a healthy diet of fresh foods(yes...including raw milk!). The answer is in YOUR hands. All you need is the desire. It is up to you....we offer you the possibility of boundless oral health. I need to add , for obvious reasons...this is not offered as medical advice............

Do we have LIBERTY or not. Well we have no freedom to choose if our water is fluoridated or not. You may think you do but try and get it out of your water. Just remove all doubt for yourself. Work with your city council -who can get rid of the fluoride. I think they get bribes from the pro-fluoride people.

This country is really close to a dictatorship. Are you going to be that patriot that helps restore our freedoms?

The fluoride is in your food too- foods made with fluoridated water and fluoridated pesticides-

Industrial waste right in our water in the grand old USA. How free do you think you are?

Get the fluoride out.

There are water fliters made from clay which are designed to remove fluoride. Do a google search on fluoride water filters. Prices vary considerably depending on the size of the unit and manufacturer.

I use Weleda's fluoride-free, SLS-free, anything unnatural- free toothpaste. I like the "orange" colored one that has a slight licorice flavor. I think that the SLS in my previous toothpaste was causing canker sores in my mouth. They've gone away since I started using this toothpaste. I absolutely love it.

Doesn't natural fourine come from the ground? We had our water tested (well water) and it does contain some flourine. Hey Robert, I grew up on city water and yes, I have plenty of cavities so the water so the flouride in it did me as well as my sisters no good.

I drink a fair bit of tea (black or green - no milk or sugar) to effectively treat my sensitive teeth but am concerned about the flouride levels ! Tea really seems to help with this problem (especially when rinsed) so I don't have to use a (probably chemically toxic) commercial toothpaste ! Has anyone any ideas for an alternative ? Funnily enough no one I've spoken to seems to be aware of how helpful tea can be in this area (without milk of course) so it's been a bit of a secret weapon but I am now concerned about flouride levels having had the usual (excessive) exposure as a child etc. Any suggestions?

We could go on and on debating about all the toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis and it won't make any difference until we all get involved. Wow….I’m approaching the big 60 and wonder if the many fluoride treatments I received as a child are having an effect on my absent minded thinking these days. I always hated going in for those. Is there a way to reverse this?

I have found, that Young Living gives the best natural toothpaste....Thieves....it's all natural and includes very pure therapeutic essential oils [Lemon,Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus radiata and Rosemary cineol], which help fight bacteria as well as keep the teeth healthy and fresh.

I have a ionic whole house filtration and water softner system. How can I find out if it is actually filtering out the flouride? I spent a great deal of money on this when I moved in my house, but I never tested the system to make sure it was actually filtering out all the flouride and toxins.
