i drink energy drinks and alchol and i love it it keeps me from falling asleep when i am drunk as for drinking more i only drink as much as i can aford so if i was drinking something else i would drink more liquor because it is cheaper than the energy drink (bobby)

Also, another reason for not having energy is a heavy metals load in your body blocking nutrients from getting into the cells. For instance mercury blocks vitamin B12 - a big vitamin for energy.

I have never drinked redbull or any other mix with it because it was banned here some years ago but Cultshakers (Cult/vodka) and Magic + Vodka/jagermeister are pretty popular here. I haven't heard about anyone dying or having any cardivascular troubles here after drinking these drinks. Personally i rarely get hangovers and seemingly less hangovers after drinking Cultshakers (it is my favourite drink). Maybe it's the Redbull?

I had a scarry episode the next morning after drinkin first red bull and vodka for the first time. I had 4 red bull and vodka drinks at my friends house, I felt great all night and had soo much energy, unfortunatly the next morning I didn't feel too hot, it was worse than a normal hang over. I thought it would go away but it didn't, it just got worse. I was on my way to a afternoon show at the movies with my family and all of a sudden I got really dizzy and I felt like I was burning up, I thought I was goin to die. I could't breathe and I was really shaky!!! My body was in shock. We had to drive home after my body setled down. I felt shaky all night. That was the most scared I have ever been, I am a young, healthy 23 year old male and I do not recommend anyone to drink energy drinks in general, especialy when mixed with alcohol. That was the last time I will ever mix such a deadly combination!!!!!!!!!

I have experienced these drinks first hand and the effects are definitely worse than most alcohol drinks. I experienced the most horrendous hangover after drinking vodka and red bull cocktails which was so bad that I found I could hardly walk in the morning, my legs almost gave way when I got out of bed. This report is no surprise to me at all. Energy drinks alone can be harmful in excess and when mixed with alcohol they can be potentially lethal.

Red Bull and alchold messes you up, and people know that and thats why they do it. It gives them a reason for doing stupid things. What they don't realize is that it can kill them. They don't understand the physiologic of it. If you know anyone who drinks it, you need to explain it to them and show this article. And just then it may click.

Red Bull other energy drinks alone is almost as bad a sodas. If you look at their ingredient, its very similar. I urge you to stay away from those as well. Dr.A

I am not sure how they can call those things energy drinks, all they really provide is calories and stimulants. I guess it is the calories. They are a great source of HFCS along with most other processed foods.

As I have been saying for many months on Vital Votes, if not years, so called ENERGY drinks, do not deliver kinesiological energy, for initial or sustained effect, but are neuro stimulants.

Combine caffeine dosages in Red Bulls, or Rock Star like brands, with blood depressant alcohol, and you get cardiac arrest and DEATH; at much higher actuarial numbers than those who consume only one OR THE OTHER, but not both in close proximity to each other.

By the way, any representation Energy Drinks can sober one up faster, are a FLAT OUT LIE.

There is some tangential truth in the Red Bull ad campaign though, that their product "Gives You Wings", because the Singapore based pharma company who owns Red Bull, has knowingly KILLED many hundreds, in combination with alcohol, globally already.
