WHY will no one accept my offer of 100 pounds of money

for just describing the money that government spends?

WHY have I made this offer for over 25 years? It is

because the most repeated lie is that government spends

money. They cannot get money from you when adll that

you have in banks is numbers and they need no money

when all of us will risk or even lose our lives for numbers.

NO BRACH OF GOVERNMENT SPENDS OR PAYS FOR

I THINK IT IS A "GREAT" ARTICLE. I'M SICK & TIRED OF THE DECEPTION FROM THE GOVERNMENT, DRUG COMPANIES, AND YES, EVEN THE FDA. THEY ARE CONTROLLING OUR VERY HEALTH. JUST LOOK AT OUR YOUNG CHILDREN AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT A "FAT" COUNTRY WE HAVE BECOME. THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE! Dart

One state has already began arresting parents who do not have their children immunized before going to school. I guess next for choosing to use vitamins, and raw foods, or flesh free diets will become a felony. Already you cannot legally purchase raw almonds in this country.

Next check to see if you are wearing the proper underwear. So much for freedomless America.

It is interesting that a form of coercion briefly mentioned in Kent's article, the treatment of tuberculosis, was in some cases handled in a wellness oriented way which he does not mention. Before the island on which I live (Staten Island, NYC) was converted into a toxic, polluted filth hole, we were noted for once being the home of a quite successful tuberculosis colony where many were cured or at least had an improved existence where a good portion of the treatment involved diet, exercise, fresh air, sanitation, pleasant surroundings and moderated medical intervention. So much good was done here that an effort has been made to preserve the site as historic in the role that it played. I wonder if there is a place for a degree of control when necessary and how is such moderated. Perhaps the greatest concern that I would have is that wellness is hijacked by the same dictatorial forces controlling the more conventional medical model and how to prevent such. The food police is a common example.

No, Robert, DC's are not medical doctors but this is about NOT treating your problems with doctors but with alternatives to that screwed up system. Sometimes i think people come to places like this to purposefully put a dark wrench in the light wheel.

I'm writing him in if he's not on my ballot!! This is the first election I'm not wishing for a 'vote against' or 'none of the above' option. He's not the magic pill because we'll still have an ineffectual Congress, but at least it's a step in a better direction! ("Status quo--that's latin for 'the mess we're in'")

This article lines up with my sentiments on my practice (massage therapy, infant massage education, aromatherapy). I'm working to put myself out of a job! *wink* And if there weren't bills to pay and little mouths to feed I'd do it for free.

To comment on a mom's post regarding feeding her tot healthy foods and losing weight in a responsible manner--I get the same responses for not feeding my kids sugar or foods with LOTS of dye (like colored goldfish!); or for seeking out organic/local foods. We're not doing as good as we ought, but I've got lines drawn and we're working on drawing others. *grin* I also get the same level of criticism regarding our homeschooling. *lol* Keep at it! You have a cheering squad from our corner!!

A point, please note that drugs were unregulated before 1914. My suggestion that drugs should remain unregulated does not resonate well with many people. Regardless of your motives, (other) people should be able to choose as they wish. Of course, getting the advice of the professional of your choice might be a spectacularly good idea.

Can you imagine dismantling the DEA and the dramatic reduction of the entire prison system? The objection wouldn't be about drugs, but preserving government jobs (like the controversial reduction of military bases not so long ago). Nannyism is here!

Consider Constitutional Amendments (State and Federal) to enact that the state has no authority to regulate where we go or what we do. If I climb a mountain and fall off, I took the risk. The state is not liable, neither can they place it off limits to me.

I agree that we need to protect our health freedom from politicians who are paid for by the pharmaceutical industry, but both of the major parties are on the payroll, not just the Democrats. We need to tame the insurance industry that is bankrupting Americans, but the only government health program that makes sense is a limited catastrophic policy with a very high deductible to cover everyone for hospitalization so people don't lose their homes and life savings in an emergency. Health insurance should not pay for Doctor visits and drugs.

I just wanted to say that I am often labeled the "crazy health-nut" because I have recently changed how I eat (due to this website, mostly... but pregnancy was ultimately the motivating factor in my search for health, that led me to mercola.com). My son is 14 months old and I strive to feed us only healthy-natural foods. I am told I shouldn't make anything taboo (sweets, french fries etc, which I have already decided to make "taboo"). After the birth of my son, I started looking for ways to lose weight that were pro-breastfeeding. I thank the universe everyday that I decided to breastfeed, because that ultimately "forced" me to make changes I may not have ever considered. Truthfully, I was looking for that magic pill to lose the exess weight. There is none. I found a helathy diet and lots of exercise, and losing weight slowly (only 1 pound a week to keep toxins from my baby) were the answer. None of my friends want to hear that. They all want the "secret" until I tell them. The "secret" for me is personal responsibility, coupled with education. It is always my choice what I eat. The more I know, the healthier I choose. It scares and saddens me that I am looked at as crazy, eccentric etc because I want to feed my son healthy foods. Some people act as though I am poisoning him, not teaching him healthy eating habits. Hopefully his health, as well as mine, will eventually become an actraction rather than a "freakish" thing.

Speaking of children, there is a mother in CA who was jailed for treating her son for a melanoma with alternatives, i think her last name is Jessop, you can read about it on Healthsalon.org. Be sure to also read up on MMS; i am using it with great results re yeast, pathogens, parasites, it wipes out most everything, including cancer, but research it for yourself....

Bridestein, sadly, even adding it to the constitution would be fruitless. Our constitution seems to have little merit these days. As GWB himself said, and I paraphrase, "....it's just a dam piece of paper".

And then there is surgery. I saved my hearing by finding a cranial sacral physical therapist who drained the fluid from my ears that had made me almost deaf for about a month last year. And thus I escaped the ear, nose, and throat specialist who had tried to hussle me into the hospital to get ear plugs. A prior experience of fluid in one ear had made me understand that tubes will/can decrease one's hearing--at least for a senior citizen. I think I have finally isolated the cause of the fluid (all by myself, I might add); I think it was all the yogurt I had been consuming that finally caught up with me.
