Two of her five children have no pain. It has been a nightmare for them. At a year and a half the littlest one would be running about while my friend and I visited and whack her head into the table. No pain. She had broken her leg and her mom didn't know until she developed visual syptoms. As the girls got older she was able to teach them to be constantly observant of themselves and to check for bleeding at the smallest bump. The children could feel pressure and had sensitivity to taouch but not the pain. I haven't seen my friend for about 9 years. At that time the girls were about 2 and 7 years old. The family had been to lots of testing at the Mayo Clinic and elsewhere. Since I moved away and we haven't kept in contact I don't know how things turned out for them. I do know that the Mayo Clinic could find no genetic markers. ( At least not at that time.)

Even more oddly, know a woman who is a true hermaphrodite. Such a difficult life. This person lived as a woman.

Speaking of odds.... how odd is it that I read this article and actually know first hand of several cases!!! That's what really struck me.

It is kind of like poker. You get one deal of the cards. Some people get a really good or very bad deal.

Most of us get a pretty good deal of the genetic cards. What we do with that is the primary determinant of our health and fortune. We are a full century post-industrial. We know what causes degenerative disease. Most Americans do NOT die a Natural Death, but one that they have invested a full lifetime into creating; such as most cases of Heart Attack, Diabetes, Cancer, Stroke (did you know that going to your MD is in the top three causes of death?).

(Most of us) We can choose.

EFT, holistic life coaching and hypnotherapy to help a person heal themselves by releasing cellular memory, forgiveness, inner child empowerment etc. What I don't get is hypnotherapy isn't mentioned more often, ever other modality is... Has anyone seen the work of Gil Boyne? its very powerful. There are plenty of good hypnotherpist's out there and our minds/bodies/health is a result of our thoughts, quantum physics all but proves that. Seems to me that people are still looking for answers outsides of themselves and especially things to blame. Also things out side of themselves to save them.... its all just thought. My unanswered question is does thought, as in peptides, cross the placenta?
