I just saw on the state run media news channel CBS that GARDASIL IS NOW APPROVED FOR YOUNG BOYS FOR GENITAL WARTS!! What in the WORLD is going on???? What is wrong in this country???

Re: vaccines: My younger brother (born in '59) came down with whooping cough one month (incubation period) after receiving the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. He was a baby at the time and was very seriously ill. He had not been around anyone who had whooping cough. When the next child, the youngest, was born, my mother didn't let him have any vaccinations. Of nine children, he has always been the healthiest and most intelligent.

Regarding the MMR vaccine and autism--it is not hype. When a healthy child receives an MMR shot and has a severe reaction and within a week is diagnosed as autistic--and this happens over and over among children, the connection is obvious.

The doctors don't obviously have all the info on this drug. They told me it is completely safe and is recommended for girls as young as 9 years old. My oldest daughter had the series of vaccinations and my 12 year old second daughter just got her first shot. I will NOT be going back to get more. I have always tried to observe an informed approach to conventional medicine along with other wellness appoaches. I am now leaning more and more toward avoiding the pediatricians office and only going for physicals when the school requires them. My oldest has asthma and lyme disease. I really am angered that I may have consented to giving her poor body one more thing to deal with.

because it only targets the main types, not all of the 100+ types.

oh so NOW you reference facts on the other types when its convenient to do so. the strains of HPV that cause cervical cancer do NOT clear up on their own. the other types not associated with warts or cancer do.

I can only assume that the majority of people commenting on this website would also have banned Penicillin if the have been active around it's time of first widespread use!!! Guess what, some people are allergic to it too! People are also allergic to eggs, tomatoes and grass seeds......should they also be banned. The vaccine is given to younger females....hopefully before they can have been infected by HPV. It does not stop you contracting HPV but acts against the forms that are KNOWN to be linked to cervical cancer....and 99% of cervical cancer is linked to HPV. This is no different to the hype surrounding the MMR vaccine and Autism. There happens to be a common link....Autism is usually diagnosed around 12 months of age ...about the same time that the MMR is given!

ANY NEW VACCINE WILL HAVE A PERCENTAGE OF REACTIONS ONCE RELEASED TO THE GREATER PUBLIC. PEOPLE ARE INFORMED OF POTENTIAL SIDE AFFECTS AND ARE FREE TO CHOSE WHETHER TO VACCINATE OR NOT.

OH YEAH.....I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONNECTION TO ANY PHARMICUTICAL COMPANY OR HAVE ANY REASON TO GAIN FROM MY COMMENTS.

Our society does not understand the real meaning of prevention. It seems that vaccinations, mammograms, colonoscopies, and the like are what is now considered "preventative medicine" - it's time to wake up and take real responsibility for our health by changing our lifestyles and diet.

HPV infection is so prevalent that at one time it was considered normal flora. We are now realizing that certain strains are mutagenic and may, in the right host, lead to oral and cervical cancer. It is now not considered normal flora - and would be beneficial to eradicate. However, it sounds like gardisil may not be the way.

Could it be CHRONIC INFECTION like the above report says, in which the body can't repair the damage to the cells, after repeated attacks?

ASK you doctor why you MUST be in good health to receive a vaccine? is it because its not the vaccine but the IMMUNE SYSTEM that needs to be strong???

also ask him since the immune system has more than 3 ways of destroying a foreign enity, the three i remember (cell mediatied, phagocityosis, humoral). we are around germs/viruses all the time most of the time we don't even know we are "infected" the immune system kills it before it does anything.

POOR don't die from disease they die of MALNUTRITION, or POOR SANITATION. -- is it "immunizaiton that helped extend lifespan or sanitation. ** we have stopped making significant changes in life span yet technology is greatly growing, WHY!?

DO NOT LET SOMETHING like PREVENTABLE HPV OR ANYTHING become a MANDATORY VACCINE!!! because once you do the drug companies have no incentive to not cut corners since they can't be held accountable!

remember the ads on the buses they said IMMUNIZE not VACCINIZE. which implies there is MORE than one WAY. other wise those buses would be saying vaccinize.

It just amazes me how many moms are so for this HPV vaccine. I and another once commented on how bad it is and this mother went off on us and defended it like you wouldn't believe! Couldn't wait to get her 12 year old in the next day to get it. I'm in a "Moms Group" and I'll tell you, it surely appears to me that the vaccinated are by far less healthy and by far sick far more often than the unvaccinated. I have 3 kids. We don't eat perfectly, but we by far don't eat as bad as most of these kids eat and my kids are very smart and rarely sick. All I see in this group are kids with runny noses, chronic coughs, ADHD, and chronic ear infections at the age of 2 years old etc.... My kids have never had an ear infection, maybe once, but cleared up WITHOUT anitbiotics! And this was years ago. If I ever doubt my choice in not vaccinating them, all I have to do is see all of these sickly "vaccinated" children and I KNOW I made the right choice!

As a result of the Gardasil side-effects, the presence of HPV, HIV and HTLV-III and HTLV-IV, and other associated risks of sex and sexually transmitted diseases, including abortions of unwanted pregnancies, we must teach the following two basic rules to our BOYS and YOUNG MEN in dealing with women:

1. NEVER touch a female unless she is a family member, unless it is your job to touch her (a doctor, an EMT, a fire fighter, a policeman, a hairdresser, cosmetologist, etc.), or unless the woman is in immediate need of physical assistance (she is handicapped or her life is in danger and she needs rescue and/or first aid.)

2. NEVER, EVER sexually touch a woman unless she is your WIFE.

If our boys and young men employ these rules, not only will the spread of HPV be curbed, and not only is complete abstinence the 100% solution to sexually transmitted disease and unwanted pregnancies, but our boys and young men will be better examples of moral virtues, and our girls and women will be better protected from disease and domestic violence.

It's amazing how people cling to false beliefs (especially regarding vaccines). Many of my co-workers got the flu shot and still got a very nasty virus that took out more than half the office. I tried telling them that vaccines are not the answer for good health, but they just thought I was nuts. Even though I have a 21-month old daughter and was exposed multiple times to the virus that sickened many of my co-workers, I have not even caught a cold this year thanks to following the advice of Dr. Mercola and you guys. So far, my daughter Jackie has not even gotten a cold either as both of us are taking cod liver oil to compensate for lack of sunlight. :-)

Even if I believed in some vaccines, Gardasil would certainly not be on my list. I may be a little rusty in biology, but I don't remember boys having the required body part to get cervical cancer so I'm still completely stunned that Merck would market Gardasil to boys. I think they should change their slogan to "Merck, where profits come first". Thank you Dr. Mercola and the rest you for sharing your wisdom with me. Have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
