Anyway, here's my latest suggestion written yesterday to Mr. Paul.....

Dear Congressman Paul,

Judging by your astounding popularity at Google ( please see articles.mercola.com/.../media-caught-lying-about-presidential-candidates-popularity.aspx ), I'd like to strongly suggest that you step back into the race for President 2008 as an Independent or Constitution Party candidate. I also feel that making this announcement on the 4th of July would have a fantastic and patriotic impact on all of your supporters and would further your chances for a landslide victory in November.

God bless you in all of your endeavors. WE NEED YOU NOW IN THE WHITE HOUSE MORE THAN EVER!

I'm still voting for Dennis Kucinich. He has opposed the Bush/Cheney Republican Crime Family from day one.

Ron Paul talks about the free-market crap and all that. Corporations (the people running them) have too much power. This country is on the verge of an economic collapse. We need to understand what has been going on since 2001.

Ron Paul is the man of our time, a true freedom loving American, who wants America to be dislodged from the corporate handlers and thier presidential puppets since 1988, for 20 years people, its been the Bush and Clinton Power structure. How the hell we let this happen to begin with is beyound me, but the momentum is HUGE now to stop it, and its still growing. It must end or our country as we know it, our lives, the lives of our children and grandchildren and all their hopes will end. We are at the cusp of losing our great nation. If you love this country and believe in any of its principals, the window of time is short, very short, its time to act to preserve our dreams and those of all our loved ones, or have endless regrets.

Also, we need to do the same thing to CNN now because they failed to air an interview that Larry King did with RP the night before the Iowa Caucus. Seems like they just wanted to waste an hour of the good doctors time on the eve of the caucus, and maybe try to demoralize him somewhat. Either that, or perhaps the interview went "too well" for him so they decided not to air it-- judge for yourself though- please watch it on You Tube: youtube.com/watch Notice how CNN interviewed Dr. Paul as he stood out in the freezing cold in Iowa for a whole damn hour. I don't know about you, but I'd say CNN has earned the same pole axing we just gave Fox. Lets dump their stock and nuke THEIR advertisers too? Anyone made a list of advertisers or put together a list of CNN contacts?

Because of the muddle-headed thinking of our politically correct culture, the choice is now between attacking Islam (and thus freedom of "religion") and a lessening of our liberties.

Ron Paul's agenda suicidally supports neither and so he is AWOL.

So whatever is most expedient/practical is the best solution. Since with all the democrats we don't have the cultural and intellectual mass to assert that freedom of religion does not include Islam, these lessenings of our liberties is a must.

I am disappointed with Mercola's post, but he is only a medical doctor..

I spent time with family these last two weeks and it's so amazing that those who don't have access to the internet have either not heard of Ron Paul or don't know much about him. The local and national news refuse to talk about him, still keeping a percentage of our population in the dark. I thank God for the freedoms we still have on the internet.

Ron Paul is NOT a nut, and he is NOT a tool of big business or the Corporate elite.

I heard his views on Glenn Beck, and although Ron Paul is running as a Republican Primary candidate, his views are Libertarian and Constitutional.

His voting record does not reflect either a nut or a corporate toady, but someone who actually understands the constitution, and the original intent of the founders, who were NOT republican conservatives or democrat liberals, but who were revolutionaries who understood that goernment ALWAYS expand with time, and the legal system ALWAYS gets complex with time, and civil rights and liberty tend to decrease when these actions happen.

Most of the laws passed by Republicans and Democrats are inherently anti-public and Pro-corporate, regardless of the smooth talk and charm of Miss Hillary.

If you want a good example, look at the "reform" of the bankruptcy laws done with massive support of both parties, which went against the pulbic debtors, and for the big corporate lenders and credit card lobbys.

This resulted in a doubling of minimum credit card payments, difficulty in any Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and pushed the consumer to default on mortgages so much that the sub prime crisis occured, since no one could escape excessive credit card fees and debts.

The political plantation has the public as slaves, and the political parties and lobbys as master. Time to run for the underground railroad of Ron Paul to freedom.

We need a strong christian president like Bush and Hucklebee who understand the big picture concerning our enemies. I agree totally that we also must work hard to educate the public and defeat the stranglehold the drug companies have on our country if we are to survive. We have powerful enemies within and without. To ignore either is a fatal mistake. So Ron Paul clearly may understand our problems with government doing more harm than good in health and some constitutional matters but he has no clue as to the real dangers we face from the terrorist.

So to win our health reforms only to get blown away by terrorist would be foolish.

For all I admire much of Ron Paul's position, he is still a REPUBLICAN. The last interview I saw he stated that big business would be supported so more jobs would be available. Right, like big business is going to stop sending work overseas and pay the American worker their higher wage. He also said that since big business would be providing more jobs, people would have to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. No government assistance will be available. That's very nice for people who have resources and education and beds to sleep in at night. By the way Ron Paul, some people don't even have boots.

Of course Ron Paul is the candidate of choice for all "real Americans", however, even if he won 100% of the popular vote across the country, he probably will not become the President of the United States. Why? Because a company out of Israel tallies the votes. That's right! Why aren't the votes tallied by people in each state where the caucus' take place?
