Always an adventure (intellectual and fact gathering) when opening up your newsletters.

Thank you also for the person who mentioned ITA software login. very useful site. This is one of the major reasons I read the comments here, and only here, as so many loving people offer insights and links for further knowledge acquisition.

One thing about greenhouse gases and the Airline industry. I assume you are talking about CO2, correct? the same substance that Plants, trees, and algae crave? This 'bad gas' is less than 2% of any cubic of atmosphere you care to measure. 95% of all air is water vapor. Dont Beleive me? then call someone who now lives in a place which has a temperature of -40 degrees. Ask them about ICE FOG.

I suggest the documentary here: www.moviesfoundonline.com/great_global_warming_swindle.php

Al Gore and John Edwards (and many others) have personally made 9 figures USD by hedging carbon credits. If the current stream of propaganda is allowed to run course, u'all be paying a carbon tax for just breathing. Think about that, while the top 10% pay less tax than the lower 50% - on a one to one basis; and continue to drive huge SUVs, your utility burns coal and nat-gas, Air travel continues to escalate, and Walmart generates ever increasing orders for crap made in China. Oh, and PV panels? How are they working out for ya?

Increases in carbon dioxide (your nasty horrible greenhouse gas) follow temperature increases. This is not rhetoric, this is fact. The recent earth mean temperature increase is due to increased sun spot activity.

Follow the money folks, and next time you read or hear how bad earth warming is, ask yourself, "who benefits from having me believe this, when human-generated CO2 only accounts for 1% of the atmosphere?"

Use an extended oil drain and a fuel conditioner that reduces friction and enhances fuel combustion enuf that your vehicle consumes or dirties 65% + less oil and consumes 10 to 25% less fuel. Reduces emissions by 50 to 80%. I have been using these products for 25 years and have seen and done a lot of tests and know it works. I know of a fleet of semi's that have 400,000 to 500,000 miles on their current oil change and it still tests to be good and clean and is reducing metal wear more than regular oil.

North Americans, but increasingly Europeans and Asians, are choosing to fly. The good of installing environmental light bulbs is laughable when compared with the damage done by one flight.

NPR recently did a very powerful report on a very ecologically-minded North Carolina family who did all kinds of amazing things to reduce their carbon footprint, only to find that one family flight per year (between North Carolina and California or Germany) DOUBLED the total sources of all their other carbon emissions combined!!! The mother was feeling guilty about buying non-local strawberries from California, but the environmental specialist basically told her it was a drop in the ocean when compared with her airplane emissions. INCREDIBLE and really worth a listen:

www.npr.org/.../story.php

The sad fact is that the consumer lifestyle is we know it is simply not sustainable, and we are going to have to start learning how to live without a lot of the easy things we'come to take for granted (cheap airline tickets among them) in the last fifty years...

All the sites mentioned above use one search engine technology. I have found the holy grail to all travel websites as I have compared them all. The only difference to this website is you can not purchase the ticket on their website as it would create competition with Kayak, Hotwire, SideStep and many other clients. You have to go back to the airline carrier website to purchase the ticket. This means no extra surcharges as you see in some websites.

The other great factor is their simplicity layout and searching abilities. You can do week long or month long search of flights. Thats my favorite as it lays out the lowest flight fare possible.

Check it out and tell me what you think.

www.itasoftware.com

Click search airfares, click log in as guest, check off month long search

Keep up the good work Dr Mercola....love the articles you present!!!!

Donny from Tampa

PS I don't work for this company nor have any affiliations....just one late night searching the web.

(Jim Kliesch,ACEEE). When traveling a distance check into train or boat travel. It may take a bit longer to get somewhere but I think I remember heaing once that, getting there is half the fun.
