I am somewhat a health-nut. I don't read newspapers (they should call the Opinion page "Liberal's View")

While R.P. has a few views that would be nice (health and taxes), I could not vote for him unless he won the republican ticket, as Clinton & Obama would be much worse.

The first job of our government is to protect us. What I believe someone else here already wrote, you can not pull our troops out without losing the middle east and yes, it's oil. Yet, you are the same people that won't let the oil companies drill in Alaska or anywhere else in our own country, or build more refineries!

Pull out and the people who have sworn themselves to kill all non-Muslims will eventually be here, blowing themselves up at your movie theatre, your restaurant, your mall, and even worse, at mine. Yes, it does come down to killing the fanatics and winning by helping Iraq set up a form of democracy.

Yes, I want smaller government, possibly a flat tax, affordable (NOT Universal) health care and the ability to buy whatever food and supplements I choose. But, it won't matter if we don't win the war against these fanatic muslims.

Therefore, my vote has to go to whoever becomes the Republican candidate. And, I know it won't be R.P. and that will be a good thing.

Those of you saying you dislike Ron Paul are basically sheeple! I suggest learning what the term means. You need to realise that what you see on TV and mainstream media is all fabrication of what THEY want you to believe! They meaning The Elite and the Global corporations...

I love him. He's so right-on. Too bad he's only a congressman, he'd have more of a chance getting elected if he were at least a senator. But then he'd have to become a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, which would defeat his purposes entirely. They're the ones who pushed through all the things he's trying to fix.
