I have refused to buy a car & also not to buy a cell-phone.

Problem still is with my wireless land phones & my wireless internet connection.

Its really quite a challenge.

It is with great interest I've read all these comments, and also great surprise that no-one has mentioned Walter Laufs the founder of The WillauTronic® esmog protection chips. a1kinobe, regarding how you keep from feeling depressed - I have this same issue, as do some of my friends, and one of the things I try to keep in mind is that humankind has been overcoming the effects of greed and immorality for thousands of years. It's something we probably just have to learn to live with, and continue to do our best to make positive changes. I know, that's small consolation, but there's really few options - either try to be happy and spread the positive things you learn, or be sad while trying to spread the positive things you learn. Happy people seem to get a bigger audience so I do my best to stay upbeat. I've been fighting against enviornmental destruction for well over 25 years so it takes some inner strength to keep that smile. At least here you have many like-minded people who are working for positive changes!

are HONEY BEES... Bee colony collapse is is dangerously HIGH. Without bee pollenization of food crops,of which, 80%+is dependent on the honey bee pollenating........THINK ABOUT IT ......What do you like to eat????

I get so depressed when I read of these conspiracies, or not caring, by the major corporations that seem not to care about anything but the bottom line, and we all pay for it! I worry about my son, and how he'll survive the increasing toxic assaults, as well as us. People then say, "well you have to think positive" or " we can change the world, one person at a time" but that's too darn slow for me! What do you all do, think or act in order to stay genuinely positive under these conditions?

I think this is a problem for bird, but I believe it's one of many. Habitat destruction, pesticide usage (direct poisoning & killing of their food sources), cats (feral & house cats) & other invasive species (ie. starlings), climate change, mono-crop mega-agriculture. The "canaries in the coal mine" are dying, but are we paying attention?

The economic interests are so big in the cell phone industry so it will never be forbidden no matter what. The fact that migratory birds are being disoriented is certainly disturbing. And the fact that young children are being sent out with cell phones by their parents is also highly questionable, but far more dangerous is the fact that many pregnant mothers are still using electric blankets and/or electric waterbed heaters. These sources, along with increasingly rare high-radiation CRTs and electric cable heated walls are the most potent sources of harmful ELF radiation. What this means is that although cell phone use poses the greatest risk to children who use them regularly, they are far from being the greatest radiation risk in the environment. While it is important to inform the public about the ever increasing list of risky sources of radiation, it is even more important to reiterate the worst offenders, and the stages of growth at which they pose the greatest risk, which scales linearly from highest at fertilization to lowest at adulthood. I resisted getting a cell phone for years, until I finally relented a few years ago due to business concerns. I instinctively know that they are not good; my ears literally burn and feel clogged after a long call. I instinctively know that there is a cover up of some kind going on, and I believe that Dr. Mercola is probably correct in saying that this will be another Tobacco industry type of scandal in future, when many innocent folks are dying of cancers caused by these "harmless" devices. Unfortunately, cell phone technology and WIFI is quite addicting, and like tobacco, many will continue to use even when they know the truth. How convienient. How typical. I finally have a phone with a speaker function, and will try to use it as much as possible. I am grateful for Dr.Mercola's website, which is FREE, scientifically based information to anyone with "ears to hear".
