I think it would be better to eat a healthy diet for your nutritional type throughout your pregnancy and stop worrying about your shape so much, whether it is thin, curvy or round.

Obesity and anorexia are at two ends of the spectrum of weight. Somewhere in between there is a large bracket of varied shapes and sizes that can be considered healthy. Stay within the healthy range and be happy.

I love my hourglass figure! And I keep it up by eating right and not drinking milk. DO YOU HEAR THAT, PEOPLE? Milk is not good for you! All these ads with celebs drinking milk to so-called keep their figure up... all LIES!!! There are other ways of getting calcium and vitamin D than drinking milk. : )

It is giving me a bit of an uncomfortable feeling to consider the apparent difference in level of cleverness of my children based on the size of my waist when they were conceived. Hopefully just having an ample backside means there is enough Omega 3 for the baby.

He didn't say it made the women more intelligent; read again, he said "the offspring, or children are more intelligent" of women that had an hourglass figure, and its just a study.....

I have an hour glass figure, all four of my daughters scored high on their SAT's and were great students, however, they were also all breastfed and weren't brought up on sweets and bread and were encouraged to LEARN in school.... .

As for me, I'm dumber than a box of hair, so it certainly didn't raise my IQ. LOL. Nuff said....

Whatever turns you on, turns me on. By the way, I have an hourglass shape and very healthy and intelligent. I am at the normal weight for me. Whatever normal is to you. Normal to me is not sick and not so overweight that you cannot run a mile or do 10 push-ups or and kind of strength indurance. I would of loved to have been in the Renaissance era. Today society is so distorted in so many ways and throw in the decandence too. It is exhausting to compete and stand your ground without getting runover. I have gotten to the point where I don't watch T.V. anymore.

To my knowledge, this body fat does not have a specific fatty acid profile, like omega 3 or omega 6. I highly doubt we store omega 3 fatty acids in our hips and omega 6 fatty acids around our middle. We take excess calories and turn it into body fat. Therefore, I cannot understand how a woman would be smarter due to a higher percentage of a specific fat around a specific site on her body. Body fat is body fat regardless of where it is stored.
