We do not use animal waste for feed! They do in Asia, and that is why they purchase and feed antibotic-laced feed. That type of feed is against the law in the USA. We are proud of our HAACP certified Family Farm operation and will soon be sending our quality fish to your area in Chicago. We are working towards organic certification with the USDA, and hope to have our 2009 crop listed as such. Our representatives from the US Freshwater Prawn Growers Association were invited to Monteray Bay last year to showcase our quality seafood which was accepted as an exceptional product. They are moving towards listing freshwater prawns on the Best Choice list. Our farm will be open to the public in April for Trout Fishing Days, and late September for the Great Shrimp Rush, otherwise you may visit by appointment. Best Fishes!

Most fish, with the exception of wild salmon, are very high in methyl mercury thanks to the petrochemical complex, the oil and gas industries, and the burning of coal worldwide. Those fish will be even higher in mercury in the decades to come, because if people, like perhaps yourself, do not help stop the siting of the Bush Administration's coal fired power plants --100 more are being proposed, including some in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina, and other states.

Watch for the coal industries propaganda which is being aired in primary states near you!

They have been captured accidentally; caught in the nets of humans. You have to go looking for them, as they generally won't come looking for you.

The scariest fish are the genetically modified fish farmed varieties, which are given toxic feed laden PCBs and other chlorinated organics compliments of the petrochemical indthat has built up in other species, compliments of greedy humans.

Frilled Shark

Southern African range, and has been found near Japan and Australia

Blob Fish or Blob Sculpin occurs in deep waters (500 – 2800 m) in the North Pacific: Japan (Ref. 559) and the Bering Sea to off San Diego, California, USA.

Lamprey (sometimes called the Lamprey eels) are found in most temperate regions except Africa. Their larvae have a low tolerance for high water temperatures, which is probably why they are not found in the tropics. en.wikipedia.org/.../Lamprey

Basking Shark is a coastal-pelagic shark found worldwide in boreal to warm-temperate waters around the continental shelves. It prefers waters between 8 and 14° C (46 and 57° F). It is often seen close to land and will enter enclosed bays. en.wikipedia.org/.../Basking_shark

Goblin Shark --twice caught alive in Japan; died within two days of capture. Normally it stays near the bottom of the ocean.
