Does anyone know what works well for frequent gas and bloating? It seems to happen after every time I eat. Sometimes if it's bloating from drinking beer or food...cough medicine such as Benelyn really seems to help cause it helps with digestion....but I want something natural that I can use all the time. Please share your ideas. Thanks

Here's where I get a little confused... I have been diagnosed with a wheat allergy. The only thing that ever bothered me before the diagnosis were pastas - except organic pastas. So, is it possible that I'm not really allergic to ALL wheat/gluten, but really just the highly processed stuff? How do I find out?

The article was, as usual, excellent. Who is behind the ban (at least in North Carolina) on raw milk? Who is forcing me to eat overprocessed pasteurized tasteless cheese when I love an organic brand made with raw milk? The FDA is no friend to Everyman when its allegiance is to the pharmaceutical barons and somehow to the mega-dairy profiteers as well. I feel a calling to join Ron Paul and all the thinking (and voting, though it makes no difference, mothers) who desire to keep their children healthy with raw milk. It is fast becoming my passion. The local supermarket chain has removed the only cheese I, and my two toddler grandsons, enjoy. Almost crave, for its pure unwaxed flavor and consistency. The recent determination, edict, is that cheese made with raw milk also falls under state "law." This is far reaching, unfair and intrusive. Please let me know how I can become involved in this cause, and that of the personal right to refuse vaccinations. I'm a published writer but have never used my promotional public relations expertise to advocate governmental change, nor have I marched or assembled for a position. But I'm ready now! We're told "No" to the healthy product and "Must" to the dangerous one. That makes no sense, other than the greed of our decision makers. I've never felt so manipulated, so imprisoned, so insulted by our country. When there is no peril to another, no harm (in fact this is the antithesis) to the greater community, then we as Americans are intelligent enough to make our own health related decisions. Please help me help those who are organized and already active in behalf of this important message. We are losing the freedom to make our own family decisions, allowing instead Monsanto to engineer, brand names to hide behind "Natural" and the FDA and equivalent agencies to become kick-back rich by selling their souls. Another huge factor in the cause of allergies is Candida Albicans. That is why it is so important to take a probiotic especially after antibiotics. At least getting rid of the Candida will prevent new allergies from forming.

-Have you heard of NAET? it's a non-invasive allergy elimination technique based on the Chinese energy pathways called meridians. I used to be allergic to wheat and additives and would suffer incredible fatigue shortly after eating either. Now I can eat anything with no symptoms whatsoever. Hi- Comment on the Autism remark. I too share your frustration. However, I must confess, my 16 yr old with autism was not vaccinated neither was I as a child. I have worked with 67 families in the last 12 years

trying to help them sift through the "hereitical options" years ago that are now being touted by celebs as beneficial. Of the 68 (my son included) detailed health and life histories we took, there were a few cases(9) that screamed vaccine damage - however many more pointed to an enzyme deficiancy and an over abundance of yeast due to toxins, processed foods, antibiotic misuse, genetics, etc. Our theory became

that for many, generations of toxic food, medical/dental toxins, air and water toxic buildup has damaged this generations' ability to create the enzymes needed to break down protiens in the body - almost a PKU effect if you will. Vaccines may play a part in this - I can't say for sure. What I can tell you is that organic, non-gluten, non-dairy (NOT SOY) and yeast cleanses - have set the stage for recovery for the majority of kids we've seen. (Not the be all end all - but a huge leap forward in helping pave the way). A final on vaccination: while I agree with the principal idea of vaccination - think homeopathy (not the synthetic maufactured part), I will NEVER trust the Government or Private Pharmaceutical companies (based on greed) to vouchsafe mine or my children's health. As for my son, we were told he would NEVER walk, talk, learn or be able to form close attachments. We were told to "take him home and love him", we could institutionalize him at 18. Today, he reads at a 12th grade level, has friends, speaks volumes and is already working towards his career of chioce. He has served as a sidewalker for the deaf and blind, loves the elderly, works on our farm and he can write stories that enthrall and draws years beyond his age. My favorite words though are, "I love you Mom, thanks for taking us out to dinner".

I crave Milk. I love it. I've been drinking it since I was a child. Now days I drink only raw milk. I still crave it. Would that be a sign that it is bad for me? I'm of Norwegian decent so I think my ancestors used milk allot. I think my cravings are a good sign that I'm eating healthy. I'm also an advanced metabolic typing adviser. I'm very intuitive about my body and have not noticed any effects adverse or not effecting me when I do or don't drink milk. Any ideas on this?

Maggiesmom, we had a cat in our household from the day1 my youngest daughter was born, but that didn't keep her from getting SEVERE allergy to dogs when she was 4, and starting to display a mild allergy to our own cat soon thereafter. Go figure...

Food nearly killed my son for 5 years from ages 13-18... Thank you for your story as it rings a big bell for me. My son was vomiting violently and had nausea and stomach pain for years UNTIL WE BEGAN TO EAT ONLY ORGANIC FOODS..... I WISH I COULD WAKE UP AMERICA TO SEE WHAT IS IN OUR FOOD TODAY. My son is well now + a scientist who learned/researched and now tells others what horrifying ingredients are really in our food. Mercola do you have book recommendations like seeds of deception for moms who really need to help their kids?? This is no joke, eat organic AND GET WELL.
