The biased media and readers of this blog -- most of whom own cell phones -- are likely to believe this article. If people in that building got cancer, I'd be willing to bet the farm with 100% certainty that they didn't get it from cellular antennas but from another source.

My wireless home phone affects my eyes when I speak more than 5 minutes on it. My eyelids become very heavy, and i feel like they want to close, even when I speak on the speaker. A few relatives believe me already, and they began to put on the speaker on their cells, at least. But for me even the speaker does not help. I always switch on the landline phone.

If you don't think cell phone towers are dangerous, consider this...

Back in 1994, I got a kitten. After one year of being litter-trained, he suddenly began spraying the corners of my home. He sprayed every corner downstairs, but only two upstairs. - the entrances to my bedroom and that of my daughter - even the vet was baffled that he'd wait an entire year to begin spraying.

This cat was dead at the age of 2 of fatty liver.

So I got another cat. By the age of one, this cat was sick, too, only this cat presented with NO immune system - mange and FIP.

This second cat was dead at the age of 2.

I got a third cat, and by the age of 2, this cat ALMOST died of renal failure. I was told he wouldn't make it, but he somehow survived. This cat almost died of renal failure again back in 2005 or 2006. I was told cats usually don't pull through twice, but he by the grace of God did.

My hamster grew a tumor so large he had to drag it to eat.

And I lost two (relatively young) cats to sudden heart attacks over the last 2 or 3 years.

What I learned? My last home was situated less than an eighth mile from 3 cell phone antennas atop a water tower. These towers killed my pets!

Im not sure where but I read it on here somewhere I think but that if you have a cordless phone at home you should only get the 900 mhz and not get into the ghz range because their much more powerful and they actually are sendung waves evenn wghen the phone isnt in use the 900 mhz only send waves while the ophone is in use can someone confirm or deny this? If so what kind is best to get, I have a corded phone but moved in with parents for the time being and they have a 900 mhz phone which im fine with ( im electrically sensitive) but its old and not working good so they are looking to get a new one my sister was buying them a 5.8 ghz and im trying to tell them to get a 900 mhz if they insist on having a cordless , am i right about qwhat i say about this

Zidek, Remember how smokers were so enraged that they were now saying that it was carcinogenic ? And then to really get them enraged it was said that second hand smoke was just as dangerous talk about denial I remember to a point even today some smokers say its non sense but back yrs ago they were totally enraged that scientist were even saying this .why? because they dont want it to be true, hey want to smoke and believe everything is wonderful , just like alot of people who think this technology boom is the greatest thing since slice bread there are always consequences , Now I can tell you first hand all this wireless stuff is no good for the human body. How? I feel it every day baby. I did not do a double blind study, I didnt do tons of studies, just what I became sensitive to from working in a place that had way too much electrical going onn there, Now you may say well thats you, but I am another human that basically is susceptiple to everything that everybody else is I happen to get sensitive after 15 yrs of working around high frequencies , If its hurting me you get bet because were all made of the same stuff its affecting you, you may not just feel it like I do

Reminds me of the canaries in the coal mines the miners took them in there in a cage as they worked and if the canaries died while they were working thety knew they went to deep and better get out , they didnt stay in there foolishly and say it effected thenm it won't effect me they knew it was a danger sign

Hello, I became electrically sensitive 6 yrs ago and its been living hell, though im not as bad as some people its rough with all this new technology and how oblivious people are to the fact that this could posibly hurt you

Anyway, AMAN i read your story on Monmouth county is that NJ , i have something similar I believe is happening here if possible if you can contact me it would really be appreciated lilbull624@aol.com , i have a few questions on that problem in Monmouth county.

Also I ve read some of these comments and how some think that some of these products do nothing, I personally used a teslar watch it solved all my problems but im hab=ving a secondary problem of my body blowing up with water when i get better so i stopped wearing it , but some of these products do really work , but, I also agree that some people are throwing caution to the wind because these products are helping them so they are over using electrical , that makes me think with all the technology booming what happens when they continue to put more waves arround us and stronger and these products dont work anymore , and i can tell you coming from an electrically sensitive person the wifi at least to me seems much worse then a cell phone im not saying a tower im saying ive been around cell phones and even use hem to a small degree and feel ok but i use it very limited but being in a house with wireless internet really throws me for a loop , WHICH really worries me because some of these cities want to put it throughout the whole city , I really dont see much use for the avg person to have wireless in a house and if you do I would at least turn it off when not in use

I read somewhere that there is now a glow of radiation coming off the planet earth that can be seen in space, that was not there 10 yrs ago

I think in the end, man with all its technolgy will finally outsmart its self and that wll be the end of mankind

ON CORDLESS LANDLINE PHONES:

I have cordless landline phones in my house, for which I also have/use regular, wired hands-free headsets. Are there EMR (or other) issues with the cordless landline phones that would be helped by switching to a Bluetube headset? Or is the issue with a cordless phone with a regular wired headset limited to RFI, meaning that getting the Ferrite bead would be sufficient?

I'm also trying to take into consideration Dr. Mercola's 2/7/08 article "Cell Phone Tower of Doom", in which he advises, "If you have any land-based (non-cellular) portable phones, do NOT use anything other than the 900 MHz phones as the Gigahertz phones stay on continuously, blasting you with information-carrying radio waves 24/7." If I switch to a 900Hz cordless phone, does that change the answers above that you just gave me regarding the Bluetube headset, Ferrite bead, etc?

The problem is that the 900MHz phones don't work as well and are going away. I am aware, however, that some of the newer Gigahertz phones do _not_ stay on continuously. I was wondering if you have or know of any list of recommended cordless Gigahertz phones that have been tested for radiation...and, if not, if you know where I might find that information?

Also, is a cordless Gigahertz phone that does not stay on continuously as safe as a 900MHz one, or are there other considerations due to the different frequency, etc?

I'm trying to take into consideration Dr. Mercola's 2/7/08 article "Cell Phone Tower of Doom", in which he states, "What most people, including experts, fail to understand is that the danger from land-based portable phones, cell phones and WiFi routers is not from the magnetic radiation or the microwave carrier wave from which typical SAR ratings are given on phones....Nearly all the biological damage comes from the modulated signals that are carried ON the carrier microwave."

BUT, in his 3/26/05 article "Cellular Phone Industry Just as Health-Harming as Big Tobacco?" [ www.mercola.com/.../cell_phones.htm ], Dr Mercola says, "It would also be prudent to lower the radiation at the source and select a cell phone that has the lowest amount of radiation. You can find this out by going by using CNet's review of cell phone radiation levels." [ reviews.cnet.com/.../4520-6602_7-5020355-1.html ]

SO, my question is, "Does it matter what SAR (W/kg) rating a cell phone has in the CNet review?" Or, since Dr. Mercola now (2/7/08) says SAR is measuring the wrong thing, is the advice given in the 3/26/05 article now out of date? ** More specifically, is it safe to choose a new cell phone based on the phone features I want, rather than on the SAR rating in the CNet article?? (It's quite a pain to try to juggle all the different features, etc...AND try to find a phone with a low SAR rating...and, generally, it seems that the better phones have higher SAR ratings!)

No we do not err on the side of caution, there is money to be made. Besides there is no evidence that this is really happening as a result of our towers. On the other hand it will cost too much of our precious dollars to even check.

During WW II a radar tech observed what happened to birds that flew in the path of the radar waves, they were instantly cooked, thus the "Radar Range." the same is likely happening to the honey bees. As for us humans, so what if a few of us get cancer, it will help control the population.

How in God's name, did we come to this stage of greed.

I work as a 911 operator, plugged into a computer consol. My headset has a cord that "plugs into" the consol and I have a head set with hollow tube for voice and a sponge earpiece. Does anyone know if the system is similar to using a cordless?

I appreciated Dr. Carlo's input. I especially liked his comments about honeybees and the colony collapse disorder. This is relevant to us humans, if the honeybees are the "canary in the mineshaft." I especially liked his closely-reasoned assertion that EMR is a good fit for the onset of this disorder. I am fortunate to live virtually on top of a very healthy hive of honeybees. They are inside the siding of my apartment building, just outside my porch. They have survived two attempts by the management to annihilate them, and they just keep on trucking. I watch them a lot. It is not obvious they are upset by a large cell tower less than 2 miles away. Even nearer is a major FM station with all its antennas. The bees seem more interested in nearby swamp vegetation. The health of this group of bees leads me to question the "sky is falling" predictions in this discussion group.

There is another possible cause for colony collapse disorder. There are fatty cells in the honeybee abdomen that contain magnetite. Presumably, this allows the honeybee to sense and use the earth's magnetic field. I assume they use the field to orient themselves. What happens if the earth's magnetic field changes suddenly? That is happening today. The earth's magnetic field is changing more rapidly now than it has ever changed before during our lifetimes. Scientists wonder if the field is preparing for a major shift. If the field gets weaker near the hive, do bees get lost? I understand that human cells in the pineal gland contain magnetite. What happens to us when the magnetic field changes? At this point, you may ask "What does this have to do with me?" At first I went into a bit of radio tech to center things in the discussion. Personal radio devices may indeed be responsible for numerous illnesses today, but there is a far more insidious cause: law enforcement two-way mega-radios.

Yep, our friends the police (or better yet, Homeland Security) are saturating every metro nowadays with more and more very high power radio systems operating on new proprietary-licensed wavelengths. Take a look at an average cop car, count the antennas. They are replete with on-line computers with high-speed data transfer, vehicle location systems, radio repeater systems for when the officer is out of the car, just to name a few of the technologies.

Transmitters in every car using hundreds of Watts of power. Roving your neighborhood, 24/7.

Then comes the radio base stations, usually in a city hall or police station. Some work through repeater systems located far away, maybe atop mountains. These state-of-the-art radio systems usually run continuously, designed differently than the old push-to-talk radios of Mayberry, RFD. The power levels used make your phone look like a sparkler compared to an atom bomb.

This IS a problem, and I cannot see any relief. Cellphones are just business, you can beat them in court. The law is a different story, protest too loudly and wind up in Gitmo.

And just when you thought it might be safe to go outside your shielded, radio-proof home look at the extremely high powered radars used by the FAA and the National Weather Bureau. They scan you and yours, everywhere in the country, all day every day.
