Thanks for posting the video to make people aware of this terrible practice towards these intelligent animals. The treatment of these dolphins is absolutely inhumane and sickening! Do these people have no emotions?! Apparently none whatsoever!

Why would any industry support this kind of barbarianism. We all need to boycott the industries that support this sort of animal abuse. I couldn't watch the whole clip, it made me too angry to see how supposed humans, could do things like this.

OF COURSE THIS IS TERRIBLE... BUT IF YOU FRIENDS WOULD SEE WHAT I SAW IN ANOTHER EMAIL SENT TO ME BY A RELATIVE YOU WOULD NOT BELIVE IT. AND THIS IS NOT HAPPENING IN 'BARBARIC' JAPAN BUT IN THE FEROE ISLAND IN DENMARK, AND IT IS NOT FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES EITHER BUT FOR THE PURE 'FUN' OF IT. UNFORTUNATELY I AM NOT COMPUTER WISE ENOUGH TO PUT THE LINK IN THIS POST SO YOU GUYS CAN SEE IT. PROBABLY SOMEONE CAN FIND IT AND POST THE IMAGES FOR EVERY ONE TO SEE. THIS IS HAPPENING IN DENMARK, IN AN ISLAND CALLED FEROE. THE KILLING OF HUNDREDS OF DOLPHINGS TAKE PLACE HERE EVERY YEAR AS A 'RITUAL' OF CAMING OF AGE FOR YOUNGSTERS REACHING 21 YEARS. ONE THING I CAN SAY IS WHAT THIS JAPANESE PEOPLE ARE DOING IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT PEOPLE IN DENMARK ARE TO THE DOLPHINGS. COULD SOMEONE COMPUTER WISE FIND THAT IMAGES AND POST IT FOR EVERYONE TO SEE? MAYBE YOURSELF DR MERCOLA COULD HELP?

Although I could not watch this footage either, I just wanted to add that "The Cove" documents the plight and the journey Richard O' Barry took with his crew.

Did you know that in ancient Greece, hurting a dolphin was punishable by death?

Thank you for posting this on your site. I am deeply saddened and alarmed by the massacre of dolphins and whales.

Richard O'Barry who trained and interacted with dolphins for the series "Flipper", has now become an activist to bring this issue to the attention of the public. He is featured in the amazing documentary "The Cove".

There is no justification for the slaughter and it is important to sign the petition. The movie's website has also more information on how to make a difference in order to protect our ecosystem.
