The article recommends practicing two or more natural birth control methods at the same time, and lists such methods as: Withdrawal: The man

re: Natural Birth Control Methods Just as Effective, Much Safer Than Hormones

In the UK on can buy a device (Persona is the brand name) that easily tells one when they are ovulating. It is available over the counter, and one simply uses a test strip on about 6 days out of the month to keep the device informed of key hormonal changes. The device itself is about $100, but can be used for life, and test strips come in a box that is probably about $20. I find it most interesting that this product cannot be purchased in the US, nor can it be brought into the country. That is rather amusing, since one does not use the product internally, it is simply a mini lab-in-a-box. So of course it is not harmful. This is much easier than the other tests mentioned, and takes only a minute to use: hold the strip in your urine stream first thing on designated mornings (the device, when you open it, tells you whether you need to test that day or not), and tells you whether or not it is a "safe" day to have intercourse or not (it automatically accounts for the life of sperm, about 4 days, and the window of a woman's fertility). I am sure the US Pharma community has kept this device out of the US . I just went and found and article, pasted below, and I see that it is allowed for use in the US now for fertility (helping one to GET pregnant using it's information) rather than for the use most people would want to put it to, to PREVENT pregnancy.

I found a little article on the topic and a link.

www.associatedcontent.com/.../alternative_natural_birth_control_give_pg2.html

There is much more information on their website at www.persona.info/.../index.cfm

I hope this is helpful. Maybe it is because I have avoided taking BC pills that, while I am 45, people regularly mistake me for someone in her late twenties or early thirties! Among other things (such as about 20 years of living a lifestyle that is similar to that which Dr. Mercola and others suggest.
