I like to dring the mountain water. I remember in Utah the city water tasted so good because it came rolling down from the mountains. Even beer drinkers believe that mountain water taste better. I wrote a email to Coke and was told that they use regular city water for their soda. They claim to filter it some, but it is not filtered as much as bottled water is filtered. Now with Nano technology they can filter down to a millioneth or even a billioneth. So in this day and age there is no excuse for dirty water or dirty air. We have gone way beyond the hepa standard of 99.99% pure. With a proper filtration system we can go back to burning our garbage and use that as a fuel to generate heat or electric power to run our cities. Garbage dumps should become a thing of the past.

the town waters looks cleaner, nowdays, no floaties and its clear, but all that means is they deflocculate it more, and have better screen materials. not that it is better. stinks of chlorine!

and if you think your bottled water is much different, sorry, apart from the toxic container it comes in, it's usually just retreated town water, so why?? would you pay for what you could do with a tap filter/or jug filter for little cost.

as to rain/roof pollution, i clean my gutters regularly, and always allow a good volume to run off to yard before i re direct it to the tank, not hard to do. no i dont live in suburbia, but even country air carries dirt ,fumes ,and spray drift, so caution is always best option:-)
