A new study indicates that fish oil may help counter air pollution-related changes in heart function.
Obviously, one comes from the whole fish (does that include the liver?) and one only from the liver.

The liver has naturally occuring vitamin A and D, but not in great amounts. If you need to supplement D you won't get it from the cod liver oil (anyone living north of Atlanta and or doesn't get out in the sun much - which is most everyone in USA).

I have found several examples where fish oil offers much more concentrated Omega Fatty Acids (Carlsons is one) compared to cod liver oil.

Are these the ONLY differences?

They appear to be all processed the same way....
