And that happens without them knowing about their donor's allergies. So this is not good at all that they are trying to bring back the "it is all in their heads" theory that costs so many of us badly needed medical care and respect. Why bother to protect a child from cigarette smoke or take food triggers out of a child's diet if the problem isn't real? I have had the "what she doesn't know won't hurt her" lie told to me so many times by waiters and other people who should have known better. That has caused me great harm, wrecked vacations and cost me jobs. I have an acquaintance named Daniel who was beaten with a belt every time he had an asthma attack because his father thought his problem was all in his head too. And I was teased, scolded and ridiculed. Stress will make any health problem worse including allergies but the allergies themselves can become the biggest stressor if they cause sleep apnea that will not show up in a hospital clean sleep clinic. Severe, chronic sleep deprivation is Hell. I played outside all the time as a kid. I couldn't run much because of breathing difficulties but I was outside every day a lot. I got plenty of vitamin D but It did NOT help. Later I took huge doses of supplicants including vitamin C and what have you and I did that for decades. It probably did help me but adding prescription medications to what I was already doing also has helped enormously. Wish advice like this hadn't kept me from trying them decades sooner.
