Although I have tried to "play it safe," LIFE has forced me out of my comfort zone repeatedly. Through the struggles and the heartaches, I have grown and adapted. Even though I am only 53, I feel like I have seen enough. I hope to live to 100 and beyond with good health and a positive attitude, but I am ready to rest and take it easy too. Let the young ones make their mark, it's their turn now. I am content to play my small part and make my unique contribution.

I am very grateful to Dr. Mercola for following his passion. He reminds me of Dr. Ron Paul in the way he humbly strives to bless the multitudes with the wisdom he has received. Keep letting your light shine Dr. M. May we do the same.

But it's scary and that's honest. However, wouldn't it be a blast to throw caution to the wind? The next step for millions of us is to figure out what our passion is. It's easier said than done and I envy those who know at an early age and pursue it.

There's always hope.

Thank you for this. Anyone who reads Steve Jobs story will be inspired. It also makes you realize that every ounce of life is meaningful.

For more about journeys, check out Joseph Campbell's books and the PBS series about The Power of Myth. What Jobs says is true. The things that seemed like disaster (in anyone's life) can turn out to be a blessing in disguise. As Nietzsche said, welcome life all of it and as you do notice the gifts inherent in everything.
