I am Elly's husband. I would like to add the issue of trust to our discussion. Simply this: do I trust the medical industry: doctors, hospitals, drugs and all? Please do not misunderstand me. If I fall off a bridge and break my neck, I really do need a hospital. However, that is not what we are discussing here. Very few people fall off bridges. Many more are diagnosed with heart disease and cancer. In retrospect, the amalgam fillings dentists put in my mouth in my youth did incredible damage to my ability to think. Do I trust dentists? Honestly, no. I have been told, over and over again by experts, that various things "can't be cured." But I have cured them in my own body and my wife's. Bless Dr. M for his helpful advice here. Do I trust these "can't be cured" experts? Again, No. I do trust experimental results, though. And - just like everyone else - I did invent my own ways to do it. To me that truly is "health care." Let the experts argue with success. I would rather enjoy life.

I have been waiting for someone who takes responsibility for their health. Itr has been missing in the discussion,

My husband and I gave up on the medical established 11 years ago when my husband lost his memory. Xrays and tests revealed nothing. Western medicine could not help him. We lived in the Washington DC area at the time..

My husband and I are both former college professors with PhD degrees from major universities. We decided to help ourselves. We studied all manner of alternative healing and started working on our health without any physician's assistance. We have studied energy healing, Dr. Hulda Clark's methods, German New Medicine, and Emotional Freedom Therapy , .

All these methods and good nutrition and exercise have contributed to our healing. My husband is teaching College Physics again at age 68 and is playing competitive tennis. I am starting my own business, planning my life for the next thirty years. I am 74 years old.

Life is a lot more fun this way.

From about the age of 17 I began to look for answers to life , to finding health, on all levels, philosophical, emotions, spiritual, physical, psychological and thought that if I studied science it would give me some kind of answer. But it was not so. I began by looking at different other systems and ways of thinking. Transcendental Meditation, psychology(psychodrama, gestalt workshop, dance therapy, Bio-energy workshops) Chinese medicine, regular homoeopathy, Bach Flower, Yoga, Nature Cure (including fasting at a Health Farm) and other holistic methods, on all levels. In addition I was still under the spell of conventional medicine. None of them gave me the kind of health that I wanted, health without all the fear that medicine arouses Then I foundCLASSICAL HOMOEOPATHY as given by Hahnemann 200 years ago, a non symptomatic method, one which treats the whole person and strengthens the Vital Force which then can deal with hostile (to the person) forces. It is based on "similar cures similar" and I can only say it works as I see on myself and others. It is not expensive, one doesn't need diagnosis, but a good homoeopath that hears ones "story" and based on his knowledge of the remedies etc, he finds ONE the energy of which suits the pathology of the person and curing takes place. I have not touched a single medication in the last 13 or more years and feel well

This is a cheap system. Big Pharma is not needed
