Hi all,

Does anyone know of a site that will ship you raw milk products? I live in the suburbs of CT, there are some local farmer's markets, but I've never seen dairy products there, people said the health dept. comes down hard on them if they want to sell dairy :( Eating raw is so important in this day in age with everything being so polluted, I wish someone would start a chain of stores carrying only organic products, I'd go without other things in life to spend the extra money on my health.

I'm confused. One minute, he says not to drink your milk, and now he's saying its healthy, at first i thought he just meant dont drink pasteurized milk, but in some of the articles, pasteurization is not even mentioned.....

Started my research on raw milk about 1 month ago. On 22 Jan 09 I received my first gallon of raw milk, cheese, feta, honey, cream cheese and butter. Wow!!! was I surprised how rich, creamy and smooth and tasty raw milk was. I think is should be a crime how our government has been working to eliminate this healthy nature food source from the consumer.

I have already made my own yogart following the receipe from the book, Nurishing Traditions. It smelled like butter, looked rich and creamy and was so good...I took some of the yogart and made my own cream cheese...with a little bit of salt, it was fantastic....and now I have the whey saved...so that I can use it to cook and ferment my own vegetables.

We all need to push to keep raw milk and natural products from the farm available for purchase. I am on a crusade now....I have seen the promised land....of milk and honey....and I do not want to go back.

I am 52 years old, and have never had real butter, cheese, and milk products before. I do not want to go back to the store processed garbage.

We have been on raw milk for years, even my children, starting just under 2. We drink about 10 gallons per month. We buy from a very respectable man who keeps very very low bacteria counts and has healthy Jersey cows on grass. Raw milk is a wonderful safe product if cows on the grass. We are almost ready to get our own cow.

Wanting to know where I can be a small owner of a cow? I live in Illinois. I know of where some of the local dairy farms are located. Do you suggest I try asking them directly?
