&lt;p&gt;The study was comparing two groups, both of which had been exposed to an STD, one who&amp;#39;d contracted the disease and the other group who hadn&amp;#39;t. &amp;nbsp;I think it was AIDS (it would have been listed as AIDS, not HIV, I believe because of the year. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The results indicated that the single most dominate similarity in each group was their attitude toward sex being &amp;quot;healthy&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;unhealthy&amp;quot;. &amp;nbsp;This factor seemed to be primarily influenced by the early and formative sexual experiences. &amp;nbsp;Attitudes of their parents towards sexuality, especially directed towards them, was a factor. &amp;nbsp; Unfortunately the too common contributor to what ideas and attitudes were classified as unhealthy, came from those who&amp;#39;d experienced sexual abuse as a child or young person. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anyway, if anyone ever finds this study or a similar one, PLEASE let me know. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
