&lt;p&gt;If the humidity in the air was above 60% the glycerine would extract moisture from that source.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If the humidity was below 60% then the glyceriine would extract the moisture from your skin.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I thought that was interesting.,,and harmfukl to the skin it seems. &lt;/p&gt;
