I went to specialist, who don't really know what to do, because this problem is a result of the gastro bi-pass, and this makes the situation more difficult. My sugar can drop approximately 1 1/2 hour after I eat. Sometimes it if I eat anything sweet, or too large of a meal, this will make it drop for sure. Other times, it drops even after I had grain cereal for breakfast. I have no "stored" sugar in my body because of my sugar dropping so often, and this leaves me tired, and weak in my body. I carry a sugar machine on me with me, and I know right away when my sugar drops. My sugar has dropped as low as 1.1...which is very low. I have tried to control this with diet, and sometimes it seems to help, other times, it seems like to not make any difference. I am on a pill that helps my sugar stay level, which usually is used to help your sugar from raising, but seems to help me to not drop either. If I forget to take the pill, my sugar will for sure drop. This problem with my sugar seems to be getting worse, and I am not sure there is much I can do.

Within the first two month's after surgery my enzyme levels were high and continued to remain so, after many test and a couple of years, I finally received a diagnoses of Primary Billinary Cirrohois. I keep hearing about how the Gastric bypass effects the liver and there is not much knowledge on PBC as to how you get it. Could it be that I developed the PBC because of the Bypass?
