&lt;p&gt;Basic medical care should be affordable enough to PAY OUT OF POCKET... a simple doctor's visit, or a check-up. &amp;nbsp;So-called &amp;quot;health insurance&amp;quot; was never meant to be necessary for those basics, health insurance was originally intended to cover surgery or catastrophic illnesses! &amp;nbsp;Also, people will think longer and harder about &amp;quot;lifestyle&amp;quot; issues, such as eating a lot of processed, junk, or fast food, once they have to pay for those doctor visits out-of-pocket. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
