Until my diagnosis, I hadn&amp;#39;t done anything for my depression. I just thought it was something I had to deal with...and my family didn&amp;#39;t know anything about psychiatry, not that I told them about my problems anyway. That&amp;#39;s all changed now. I am on meds for bipolar, but I take 4 grams of Fish Oil per day...my psych doc actually recommended it - he&amp;#39;s a good one! And since adding that, I&amp;#39;ve felt a lot better. I wish I could say that it was just the fish oil that made me better...I believe it does for some people. But since my bipolar is quite severe, I&amp;#39;ve come to accept that my meds are important too...difficult as that was. &lt;p&gt;i started using fish oil liquid few days ago and allreader can see some changes in my mood: i feel more calm, relaxes. i take 2 tablespoons daily: in the morning and in the afternoon.&lt;/p&gt;
