Another concern and comment: I've been taking Omega-3's for over 6 years. A relative visiting this weekend said that her doctor in Michigan told her to get off the EFA's because they could cause heart problems. Her husband had one stent and was told when he got his second this past December that he should not take EFA's any longer; they most probably caused his need for this second stent.

You are very clear about Armour Throid and also the need for EFA's. I'm feeling conflicted.

I have to go to the gym to put on weigh or I'll be a skinny rake lik I was as a kid (before i started working out). If I am sick and miss the gym everyone notices that I have lost some weight. Is there anything I can do to normalize my thyroid for this. I can't find anything about lowering your thyroid hormones, it's always for hypothyroidism.

I am thinking now that I may have overdone it, as I am getting nightsweats and some light purple color is appearing under my eyes. I am stopping for now. Finding the proper balance can be a challenge, but it is what we must strive for.
