If I had a dime for every time I heard this... You are mistaken and this kind of dismissive remark is based on your own beliefs and misinformation rather than fact. There is no evidence of THC (or any other component of the plant) being "toxic." Why do you think it's toxic, because it makes people "high?" When was the last time you had a drink and it did not give you a "buzz?" Alcohol, although legal, is toxic. It's been implicated in countless car accidents, deaths, murders, and domestic violence. Funny how an alcohol buzz is "okay" but a pot buzz is frowned upon. By the way, I am not a pot smoker - it makes me too lethargic (different body chemistries, different reactions).

Hemp is the most versatile material in the world, from paper and fabric to fuel and strong composites. As fuel, it is one of the cleanest-burning AND sustainable. Hemp oil is nutritious. Fabric is like silk, and extremely durable. Paper is strong and does not degrade over time like tree pulp paper does.

Many medicinal qualities - including anti-cancer properties. There is a long laundry-list of studies showing great results in tumor reduction. Not in smoking it though, as more concentrated levels of THC are needed - such as in the extract from the plant. However smoking it medicinally does help other things like glaucoma and pain management + other side effects of serious diseases. In Israel, they are using it to treat brain and nerve damage.

Far cry from toxic.
