I was hoping DSM IV would be better... but it wasn&#39;t. </p> <p>If more people had read DSM IV and knew what was in it perhaps we&#39;d be less inclined to treat psychiatrists with such reverence.</p> <p>It&#39;s time for a science based approach and a greater emphasis on helping people.
