It was fine, thank God! But a very close friend is battling ductal carcinoma(high grade). So i am quite disappointed that although this article mentiones that type of cancer,it is all about mamograms? She is currently undergoing chemo. A really tough call for anyone who is told you need it to live! I as her friend would like to be an informed advocate/encourager,so would appreciate any "factual, proven "info. And would really like more info on this type of cancer.Thank you.

My sister had colon cancer at age 55 and breast cancer at age 72. I think i will contine my mammograms as I am now 78 and know that I have a higher than average risk for breast cancer. I will take my chances with mamograms. My sister's cancer was found quite early by mammogram and she is in her 5th year of rtecovery..thanks to the new cancer drugs.

My mom never had a mammogram so obviously, that did not cause her cancer.
