What still bothers me to this day, believe it or not, are those troubled souls who still believe wrestling (such as what you see on the World Wrestling Federation or World Wrestling Enterntainment, or whatever) is real. Die-hard wrestling fans spend so much money to attend these events in person and waste so much time watching this crap on TV. Telling them that wrestling is fake are serious, offensive, fighting words. Crazy huh?

Regarding whether or not the moon landing was faked, what's important is that the public not accept anything we see and hear through news media as being the truth. Common sense should prevail above all, and it should tell us that we should question everything, examine and investigate every claim, and follow the bread crumb trail that is always going to lead to the most common motivation in the world: MONEY. Part of that motive is power -- people who want power want money; or do people that want money want power -- or do greed and power lust just go hand in hand? Had an actual investigation ever been conducted into 9/11 some truths would have been exposed that would have shaken the belief systems of those who refuse to question anything the government says and does and refuse to think their own thoughts, ever. You know who they are: the ones who exhibit the Pavlovian response to certain buzzwords they've been programmed to respond to. Manipulative propaganda utilized in the brainwashing these people have allowed themselves to be subjected to via the tube; buzzwords like Patriotism, to these people, elicits the response "Support the troops!" which is precisely what Bush and Cheney ordered. They do not want the truth about 9/11 amongst other atrocities they have committed to surface. However, any person alive with more than a couple of functioning brain cells knows that they were behind 9/11 and used it to get support for launching the unwarranted attack against Iraq and the continuing occupation there. "Rah!@ Rah! Support the troops!" Of course, real support for the troops would have to include armor for their vehicles would it not? There is no logical thought process going on in the heads of the sheeple of America. If there were we'd get rid of government that doesn't work for us together, exposing every lie they try to foist on us. There have been so many that it's just common sense to wonder about the moon landing -- and everything else they say.

Yes as soon as the study of psychology was developed the USA started using it to influence people rather than for understanding them - that's the path psychology took there initially, rapidly utilised by government and advertising, whereas in Europe it was firstly used for psychoanalysis.

Great article,

I have another example: How America was brainwashed into believing in benefits of circumcision. How people got desensitized about pain, bleeding and disfiguring of male organ. This vulgar procedure is banned for girls but is done to 1.3 million American boys.

To me this is one of the best examples of conditioned programming of medical establishment and general population.

So, Dr. Shea (and Dr. Mercola), "If everybody believes something, it's probably wrong. We call that Conventional Wisdom" and "In America, conventional wisdom that has mass acceptance is usually contrived" are you saying that the Apollo moon landings of 1969-1972 were faked?

Are you saying 400,000 engineers, scientists, aerospace workers, university academicians and researchers -- not to mention billions of ordinary people who witnessed the events of the time in person or on television was actually seeing nothing more than a contrived PR hoax on a secret soundstage in the Nevada desert?

Are you really saying it was sold to a susceptible public (like Boeing and others) as some hoax believers claim because they see fluttering flags in an airless vacuum, or irregular intersecting shadows, or can't see stars in the photographs?

What would YOU trust -- the above written article by Dr. O'Shea or the facts and statements or record by the men who were there?

I ran across this type of information many years ago in a college class called "Applied Psychology." At the time, I was young and did not think people were bovine enough to buy into that kind of mind control. Clearly I was wrong in spades. The situation was actually critical then but much worse now. It is almost impossible to find any straight-up truth on television these days, and I'm sure if I read them I'd find that the newspapers are much the same. If PR firms can do what they claim to be able to do--and I believe they can--then our liberty and our republic are not long for this world. We can see the beginning of the end of democracy being played out daily before our amazed eyes in the political struggle this year. The all-powerful mass media selected John McCain for the Republicans and will soon let us know who they want for the Democrats. Then they will decide who they want to win in November. We the people can still theoretically exercise our own independent choice; however, that is much easier said than done given the overwhelming ignorance and stupidity of easily deceived Mr. and Mrs. Average Voter. Pray for a miracle. That's our only hope.
