That relieved the full blown manic depression totally. Since then, I have been on the GAPS diet and probiotics. Check out the work of Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride-her book is Gut and Psychology Syndrome. I am now free of mania and depression without the post pit! I had to wean off of it. I no longer need it because my inflammed large bowel is healing. I am also recovering from Chronic Fatigue and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity after being very sick for 16 years. Thank you, God, for Dr NCM's work! She was a neurosurgeon who healed her son of autism. Now she has a very busy clinic in Britain and speaks and teaches in the US also. You can get good recordings of her talks at the Weston A Price Foundation conferences. She also has some shorter info on You Tube. I recommend the WAPF talks. They are excellent and worth the cost.

Kathleen, what dose are you taking of post pit? I see Dr. Page practitioners recommend very small doses, such as 6/100 mg., but the smallest I can find is 35 mg.

I have recently started taking a supplement of natural posterior pituitary hormone for hormone balancing purposes. But, my cholesteral has come up to optimum levels in the process! I also feel calm and sane for the first time in 15 years!

Dr Mercola--I pray that you would study the work of Dr Melvin Page on hormone balancing and publicize it! The word needs to get out. Manic depression and depression, suicidal thoughts, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, can all be cured or prevented with posterior pituitary supplement. I am living proof!
