But as the weather heats up, a group of doctors is warning that these contraptions can be dangerous to kids.
The majority of these accidents are caused from improper use of the trampoline and the fact that trampoline coaching is as rare as hen's teeth. But the main Scare-mongery comes from "Jackass" style shows and "home video" shows. If people saw trampolines as an exercise equipment, the injuries would cease and the health benefits FAR OUTWEIGH the risks. The trampoline can assist very heavy people with weight loss. It can TOTALLY cure depression. It exercises cells of your body including the liver kidney and heart. It is used for children with autism, celebral palsy and is now helping people with muscular dystrophy.

Trampolines are not dangerous. It is just how they are used. People need not be warned against them, but need to be educated on how to use them properly.

May I also point out that far more than 100,00 injuries were reported for using bicycles. Shall we warn people not to let their children ride bikes either? The reported increase of injuries is due to the inclusion of the trampoline at the Olympics in 2000 which quadrupled sales of trampolines, and the popularity of "Jackass" style programs which I mentioned earlier.

I am trying to educate people on the benefits, rather than focussing on the dangers.
