I've noticed that after taking 1-2 pills a day of fish or cod liver oil, I had an insignificant hair loss. When I stopped consuming the oils for a certain period, the loss was reversed. I thought that the exact opposite was true, that is omega 3 oils strengthen hair. Maybe it was a mere coincidence, but there are many individuals on different websites or blogs maintaining that they noticed hair loss after consuming large doses (even 10 capsules/day !) of fish oils.

I'm told you can swallow it or put it on your salads. You can also directly apply it to your head. I'd love to hear from anyone that has had any experience with Grape Seed Oil.

Now come on Dr Mercola, tell me, if this is the case or not.. As I recall I was told this by one of my sisters.. both of whom are MDs.

Like most of us, we want to blame something that we're doing wrong. Too much emphasis is placed on diet with regard to the causitive factors involved with MPB. In my opinion, all of the conditions like heart disease, prostate cancer, and insulin resistance & high cholesterol could be "Grouped" inherited traits rather than causitive factors for MPB. The day that they can grow a head of hair will probably be the same day that they can cure almost any other disease known to man, since the key will be to reverse the aging process, and or regenerate diseased tissue. That kind of medicine is still a long way off.

It would be nice to see an aggregation of other research here since me and millions of other men would love to slow or reverse balding process.
