Does anybody know if there is any concrete research regarding the link between ASD and mercury fillings? Our 2 year old son has never been exposed to thimerosal but is showing markers for autism. I only recently became aware of the true dangers of amalgam fillings. I had them all removed by a biological dentist as soon as I found out but in the meantime our son was breastfed for well over a year while I had 7 of the wretched things - all of them at least 15 years old. I've read so much about thimerosal and autism but not mercury amalgams and autism. Surely with so many babies exposed in-utero (not to mention the FDA's recent about-turn on the dangers of amalgams for pregnant women and children) the link between dental exposure to mercury and autism should be more thoroughly investigated?

I read that mercury was removed from vaccinations in 2001. Could you please update this article with research showing what the results of successfully removing mercury from vaccinations. Many great thanks!
