This week we will take a look at some of the recent activity surrounding this controversial medication

re: Ritalin "On the Ropes"

Now – in the modern times of vaccinations - I learn about deficits caused by vaccination a lot. ADHD for example, because the sheaths around the nerves cannot develop orderly enough. Or Autism (read Kennedy’s article in SALON) and the loss of intelligence (ask teachers about the normal and higher intelligence in former generations).

My grandson was by error vaccinated twice after birth with all the combined vaccines. He had many problems growing up. Only now in his age of 13 he is getting better, because of supplements like Zink and Vitamin B 6.

The school in Germany wanted to put him on Ritalin, my daughter refused. And now she learned, that he cannot metabolize efficiently enough Vitamin B 6 and Zinc (look it up under Cryptopyrrole or on German web sites under Kryptopyrrolurie).

We are not sure, whether the many vaccinations caused his strange behaviour or whether it was inherited. But definitely Zink and B 6 worked wonders for him.

So if you inherited the problems (Crptopyrrole) or whether ADHD-symptonlike behaviour was caused by vaccines you possibly do not need Ritalin. Just check your Vitamin B 6 levels or Zink levels.

The effect is more one of facilitating volitional control of attentional deployment. The effect is very clear when the drug is used- and very immediate. An adult patient of mine recently described having ADD as like having a disordered filing system and never being able to retrieve the fact he wanted when he needed it. He repeatedly would come up with some information in his professional career a couple of hours or days after it was needed. He reported the resolution of that effect on his first afternoon on amphetamine. Another adolescent I treated recently said quite simply that ADD "saved her life"- by drawing her out of a cycle of academic failure, drug abuse and mixing with the wrong crowd.

I think that it is very easy to draw conclusions about these medications without having spoken to enough patients who have been treated.
