A number of products claim they can reverse osteoporosis, Ezorb and Algaecal with the addition of strontium, but it is difficult to find independent assessments of these claims.

My belief is that you need to search for the root cause of osteoporosis by extensive blood tests to try and establish what's low or missing , like magnesium or zinc for example and then start the treatment.Both products claim remarkable results which if true I would have expected more widespread support . Would be interested in hearing anyone that has had real experience including positive dexa scan results.

I have been prescribed Fozamax for my osteoporosis but after reading about the side effects I have decided not to take it. The possibility of damage to my jaw bone and even removal of the jaw bone affected my decision. 6% - 10% of users were said to develop these problems. I would be interested to hear of a safer method of treatment. I exercise - take Calcium powder - Vitamin D3 and Magnesium at present.

I was just prescribed Boniva.......I appreciate these articles to give me the information needed to make an educated decision. It's a no-brainer to avoid such prescriptions and learn more about the natural - who was it who said, let your food be your medicine?

OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL DIFFERENT OSTEOPOROSIS MEDICATION AND HAVE HAD VERY BAD SIDE EFFECTS FROM EVERYONE OF THEM. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF THESE DRUGS. I TOOK THE FORTICAL AND IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR AND STILL NOT OVER THE SIDE AFFECTS. MY RIBS ARE STILL SORE, DEVELOPED A BAD KNEE, CYST IN THE BREAST, OFF AND ON NOSE BLEEDS, AND LUMP ON MY ELBOW. IT AFFECTED MY SPINE SO BAD THAT I COULDN'T STRAIGHTEN UP. I ONLY USED THIS SPRAY IN MY NOSE THREE TIMES. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GO TO THE GYM!! IT AS AFFECTED MY LIFE STYLE. I WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING THAT I DON'T FEEL THAT IS GOOD FOR MY BODY! NELLIE
