&lt;p&gt;Ear infections, however, also respond to warmth and alcohol being put on cotton and placed in the ear. &amp;nbsp;(The common treatment is to have cigarette smoke blown into the ear first, but my belief is that its just heat that is gained from that, so I use a warm towel instead.)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You have to wonder, though, since most allopathic physicians seldom, it ever, get a patient completely well so they don&amp;#39;t have to return to the doctor, how much of anything they say we should actually believe.&lt;/p&gt;
