I work out, eat healthy and they say because of what "I" have done and how I treat myself is why I have diabetes. Confusing to me because over 99% of the people I know eat worse than me, far worse, including my brother and yet I have diabetes. I got gestational diabetes, after my son was born, and it went away for 3 years. It has to do with hormones somehow I thought. It is interesting that you say in this article that milk no longer contains iodine. Iodine really is a fascinating subject, they used to use it for everything, I have used it on a sore and it healed amazingly fast and well. I feel lately God telling me to eat like my Grandpa and Grandma, they had a huge garden and canned their own food, milk and cream from the creamery in the nearby town, grassfed beef, drank a cup of coffee in the morn and afternoon with sugar cubes and cookies, they both lived to be 96. Not sure why I'm writing this but found it interesting about the iodine missing in milk, just another piece of the puzzle.
