&lt;p&gt;I totally agree. I really do look up to Dr. Mercola and his articles, but after reading this comment from him, I started reading his articles less. I can&amp;#39;t believe he doesn&amp;#39;t do more research on this very controversial topic. &lt;/p&gt;

When you consider that premature infants, and infants born ill are not candidates for circumcision, the statistics you quote become questionable. A premature/ill infant is far more likely to develop infection from naturally bacteria than a healthy infant. Were these factors accounted for?&lt;/p&gt;
