God told Adam &amp; Eve not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad or they would die. They ate it and they died...Quite simple really....the laws of genetics were passed on to us and so we die. However, the exact mechanism that God has used to cause us to die is what is so interesting. Man cannot stop death. He may be able to postpone it a little while, but he cannot stop what God has put in motion. Also, the reason people in Bible times lived so long is that they were closer to perfection.....we however are very far down the line from it. &nbsp;</p>
