By Uffe Ravnskov, MD, PhD

People with high cholesterol live the longest. This statement seems so incredible that it takes a long time to clear one´s brainwashed mind to fully understand its importance. Yet the fact that people with high cholesterol live the longest emerges clearly from many scientific papers. Consider the finding of Dr. Harlan Krumholz of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale University, who reported in 1994 that old people with low cholesterol died twice as often from a heart attack as did old people with a high cholesterol.1 Supporters of the cholesterol campaign consistently ignore his observation, or consider it as a rare exception, produced by chance among a huge number of studies finding the opposite.

Simple. Yesterday my wife and I went ot see our doctor and to know the results of the anual blood test. Both had total cholesterol counts slightly above the established limit. No LDL or HDL numbers. The doctor decided to prescribe us cholesterol lowering medicine of the type mentioned in the article.

Back home again I decided to go on the internet - and not to the pharmacy. And after reading the article I understood why I have always been somewhat suspicious about all that cholesterol noise. I once lived several years in Greenland and to my best knowledge the eskimos consuming mountains of fatty/greasy foods do not suffer much heart diseases.

Did you ever notice those who doctor regularly, are sick more regularly? Every time I see my internist, he wants me to go on a statin again! I am disabled from my prior use of the Statin, Lipitor, this stuff caused a mitochondrial DNA mutation which left me unable to work, and really unable to enjoy any part of life, I was a Critical Care Registered nurse for about 13 years prior to my disabiity at age 32.

I was in the Statin Effects study which was run by Dr, Beatrice Golomb MD, PhD of the UCSD, who was the principal investigator of this study, who wrote to me to inform me that Lipitor was the likely causal contributor of my diagnosis of MELAS, Mitochondrial Encephalomyopathy with Lactic Acidosis and Strokelike episodes, as well as the Neuronal Apoptosis (Brain Cell Death) seen under electron microscopy evaluation of my brain biopsy, she had presented my case to Dr. Douglass Wallace of the UC Irvine, who is reportedly one of the Worlds formost experts of MItochondrial Medicine.

as well as the Statin effects study synopsis in the Am J Cardiovasc Drugs 2008; 8 (6): 373-418 which depicts all of the EFFECTS of these poisons, including my Mitochondrial Mutations the neuronal Apoptosis and many many other effects. My job as a registered nurse was to EDUCATE my patients, and now my job is to educate the world as to the Horrific LIE we have been told about Cholesterol.

acids, which are medium chain FA and do not need a transporter, like L-carnitine, to the mitochondria to

be burned to release energy. Also coconut oil stimulate the release of (old) cholesterol from cellular mem

branes (that s why LDL goes up for a while until enough HDL is formed after which Reverse Cholesterol Transport Mechanism do the usefull job of clearing exess LDL from blood. Besides c. oil stimulates thermogenesis in the cells so that more storaged fat is burned up and you loose wt; also it kills germs, parasites, bacteria and viruses; stimulates immunity and help body to manufacture healthy cell membranes, and nervous tissue in brain. So, Keep taking it, is good for your health and dont be scared

It is cheap as well. The turmeric has to be more bio-available as it is fermented, and is sold in Japan as a hangover preventative. I love tequila and can attest to that - it makes your bullit proof to alcohol toxins, no doubt hellping the liver to de-tox it out during sleep. I love when ypou can actually verify through proof when a supplement is working.
