&lt;p&gt;I have ESRD ( stage 5) kidney disease and am doing peritoneal dialysis once a week right now. My general PC had me on celebrex and vioxx for about a year because of &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;herniated disks in my back. He knew before giving me these drugs that my kidneys were bad and didn&amp;#39;t even bother to tell me. I found out when the nurse asked me why I was taking these drugs. I couldn&amp;#39;t believe it. When I got to the Nephrologist, the damage was done.&lt;/p&gt;
