I enjoyed reading it. Coconut oil seems to have many health benefits. I have started using it in cooking. However, I find that the question of eating LOCAL, Organic foods keeps poping up in my mind. Coconut only grows in the tropics. I live in the UK which is not in the tropics. So I have difficulty in reconciling the use of a tropical food which is not local to where I am living! Any suggestions??

I am very happy with the product. I have developed a line of foods using the products, which will soon be on the market. One thing I have to say about Tropical Traditions coconut oil is tht you can feel it working. I don't feel that with other brands. I lost 100 pounds using Tropical Traditions coconut oil. I always tell people that when you start on the oil, start listening to your body. The effects kick in when you get to about 3 to 4 TB a day. Then just listen to your body. You will find that starches - including grains, and sugar just don't appeal much to you any more. You feel fuller and satisfied therefore you eat less. Your cravings for food change and you actually start craving the foods in your type. Until a few days ago coconut oil was the only oil in my house. I did buy Olive Oil for my daughter when she was visiting. Usually I just use coconut oil for everything. I will begin experimenting with coconut flour in the next few weeks. It sounds like an intersting addition to my line.
