Dr. Mercola -

I have used UV light for whole house water purification of rainwater, and it was a dream life. The water tasted superb, our clothes never faded in the laundry, and our showers were radically more satisfying and healing than those with city water. Unfortunately I now live in a home where that is not possible.

My question to you is, could we not use white vinegar to purify our city water? I understand it kills germs and many of us use it for whole house cleaning. Seems like there are many possible alternatives to chlorine, as many natural plants contain germ killing properties.

I use water from Mt Valley glass bottles and filter it through a Brita filter. I am only using Brita b/c I can't fit

a reverse osmoses filter on my sink. I will be interested in finding out what Mercola recommends as far as

filters are concerned.
