I've esophagitis for 20 years now. 1989 a friend has left me and I had too much alcohol for one year.

Things like H2 made it even worse. There is a constant pain somewhere at the stomach entry. What can I do except avoiding

beverages like coffee, black tea and food like sugar etc.?

I'm up during the night with this awful taste and I think, as I had an acid reflux in my throat one night, that this is the reason for the taste. I don't have heart burn pain, just pressure in my stomache. Is having a horrible taste in the mouth a symptom of having the H. Pylori Infection? Its been weeks of having this rotten taste, I cant stand it, Its been two days since I've started taking the clarithromycin, it doesnt seem any better, maybe even worse. The doctor says if this doesn't work, then they will do tests. After reading this article, it doesnt sound hopeful if it is the H. Pylori. I think I will investigate the acidophilus powder and water treatment, not sure where I can get the powder from... but I'm getting desperate and this taste is horrible and my nights are miserable. Thanks for the information.
