The "tender points" at 11 or more of 18 designated anatomic sites and responses to verbal questioning of the fibromyalgia patient (which I am) does not appear to entirely satisfy company or government disability officials as to the correctness of the diagnosis. (Nor I suspect that fibromyalgia is even a "real" condition.) Disability programs love x-ray and blood test evidence. While I am now forced to seek disability from the government, I am convinced I would not have no chance whatsover, if I did not also have arthritis, etc.

My question in the face of apparent evidence to the high frequenciy of mycoplasmal infections in the bloodstreams of sufferers, is why doctors do not routinely test for mycoplasmas as further diagnostical evidence to support the existence of the aforementioned conditions?

I first had Mycoplasma Bacteria Pneumonia in May of 2002 and had to be hospitalized. When I went to my doctor for my follow up appt. I commented to him that I felt that he not put me in the hospital when he did I would not be there that day. I replied that I was right. I began to notice my early symptoms in May 2003 and in May 2004. Since I recognized my early symptoms I contacted my doctor immediatly and went on a antibiotic. When I noticed these early symptoms in 2004 I checked with the local EPA office thinking that this bacteria must be living in the airconditioning ductwork where I worked. They did not have a clue, but they did give me the phone number for the National EPA Office in Washington DC. I spoke with a Dr. Debra Talking and the information she gave me started my research on this bacteria. I also spoke with the CDC in Atlanta, GA. I had been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue numerous times prior to this over previous years and different doctors. When I was hospitalized with Atypical Pneumonia and thru bloodwork they found that it was Mycoplasma Bacteria Pneumonis. I was also positive for Legionla. Since the first episode in 2002 I have been diagnosed with Lupus (through blood work) and have been diagnosed with Fybromyalgia by two different doctors. I have also developed Essental Tremor. I in fact have 19 different diagnoses including COPD, the most recent is UTI or possibley a Bladder infection. My immune system was fine prior to May 2002, but is much lower now. Throughout my research the question always comes up to which came first, The Mycoplasma Bacteria or the other diagnoses which relate to it. My general health has gone to hell in a hand basket since May 2002. I have been to numerous specialist here in Pensacola and at UAB in Birmingham, AL: None of them can explain why my body has handled this first infection with Mycoplasma Bacter in the way that it has. I have read mush of Dr. Nicholson's reports and from my
